Andy has spent 35 years in the commercial and industrial construction industry and has been involved in a wide range of projects throughout the industry serving as the project superintendent, lead estimator and project manager.
As the owner of Andy Medcalf Construction, Andy plays a critical role in pre-construction and bidding. His extensive field experience provides a solid foundation for the constructability and innovation during the bidding phase that allows a competitive edge in pricing and bidding.
Andy continues to provide leadership and job progress oversight for every project to ensure that all stakeholders are satisfied with project progress, timeline, budget and quality.
Past Projects
Capitol City Business Center – This was a complex multi-million-dollar renovation, seismic upgrade and re-tenanting of an existing 100,000 sq. ft. structure. The project was complex given the lack of base building specifications, tight time lines and difficult to manage tenants. The final project budget was $8,000,000.
ODOT Highway Engineering Facility – This project consisted of a complete seismic upgrade, site improvement and tenant improvement of an 80,000 sq. ft. facility. Project was completed in 4.5 months and the final budget was $6,000,000.
